Travelling crane travel to Kerala has been banned by the state government.
The decision was taken by the department of land and resources and was taken without any consultation with the tourism board.
The travel ban is to protect tourism in Kerala.
The department has already banned travel to other states and has said it will not allow any more visits to Kerala for five years.
The ministry had said it was considering the recommendations of the Tourism Commission of India (TCI) and the Kerala Tourism Authority (KTA).
The government had imposed a ban on the tourist trade in October last year.
The ban was implemented due to the increase in cases of people falling ill after falling ill in Keralas roads.
Kerala is home to one of the highest number of travellers who have come from neighbouring Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Karnataka.
The country has over 20 million tourists and a growing number of tourists have been coming to Kerala.
